Course Details
ADR regulations state that anyone involved in the transportation of dangerous goods shall be ADR aware. This course is designed to give you the basic knowledge of ADR to help you understand the responsibilities and requirements needed to be involved. However, please note that this course will not give you the entitlement as a driver to carry dangerous goods unless they are limited or excepted quantities.
What to Expect
If you are a passenger in a vehicle that is transporting dangerous goods, then you need to be ADR aware of the basic knowledge or specific equipment training (e.g., fire extinguishers) and aware of the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) that is required.
This course will provide you with this information, as well as an understanding of the marking and placarding of vehicles. The course will be delivered by qualified DGSAs with all the relevant knowledge.
