Fuelling Progress: Celebrating Staff Achievements at the Goldstar Academy

At Goldstar Transport, we always strive for excellence, not just in our service delivery, but in the growth and development of our team too. Today, we’re proud to announce that two of our top Trainers in the Goldstar Academy have some new qualifications.

Navigating Dangerous Territories: Duncan’s DGSA Certification

Firstly, we’d like to extend our hearty congratulations to Duncan, who has recently passed his Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) exams – a challenging nearly five-hour-long test. This is no small feat.

Duncan’s success not only highlights his dedication to personal development but also elevates our capacity as a company. The DGSA is a vocational certification valid for five years, and with this, Duncan is now qualified to advise on the transportation of dangerous goods.

Educating and Assessing: Ellie’s Professional Milestones

Secondly, we’d like to celebrate Ellie’s recent accomplishments. Ellie is a much-valued member of team Goldstar and has come so far since originally joining us in 2014. Ellie has now completed her AET (Award in Education and Training), formerly known as PTTLS.

This professional qualification, combined with her first aid certification, now enables Ellie to teach First Aid – a critical skill set that can save lives and ensure the safety of our team and clients.

Additionally, Ellie has also become a DVSA assessor for the Mod3A off-road driving test. This allows her to evaluate trainees on this particular part of their LGV driving test, another testament to her versatility and commitment to growth.
