Our C+E Driver Training program is really comprehensive, meaning you’ll train in the following areas:

1. Daily Vehicle Checks: Learn to perform essential daily vehicle inspections.
2. Safe Uncoupling/Recoupling: Master safe and efficient trailer uncoupling and recoupling.
3. Defensive Driving: Acquire defensive driving skills for road safety.

We offer a dedicated reversing area on-site, which is DVSA approved. Here, you’ll practice and hone your reversing skills, ensuring you’re fully comfortable with the test procedures before your official examination. It’s also where you’ll complete your off-road manoeuvring test, a crucial step before the on-road test.

Our training vehicles are modern Mercedes Actros models with automatic transmissions, carefully selected to be easy to learn in while ensuring you familiarise yourself with the most up-to-date in-cab technology . Each vehicle comfortably accommodates up to two trainees and an instructor.

All our Goldstar HGV training takes place at our Woolpit, Suffolk training base, utilising DVSA driving test centres in Ipswich, Norwich, or Chelmsford. We’re dedicated to helping you achieve your HGV driving goals efficiently and effectively.
